1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing the website of Buckinghamshire Garden Rooms or engaging us for design or build services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Services

Buckinghamshire Garden Rooms designs and builds bespoke garden rooms, including:

• Luxury garden offices
• Garden gyms
• Garden studios (art, music, yoga, therapy)
• Multi-use and combined garden buildings

Specific services and their scope are confirmed in writing in your fixed-price quotation.

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations are valid for 60 days from the date of issue. Prices are quoted in GBP and include VAT for UK domestic clients. Quotations are fixed-price for the specification stated; spec changes initiated by the client will be quoted separately as variations before any work proceeds.

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are confirmed in your quotation pack and typically follow a deposit-on-acceptance, staged-payment-during-build, balance-on-handover schedule. We accept bank transfer, card payment, and finance arrangements (subject to status, via our finance partner).

5. Planning Permission

Where Permitted Development applies, no formal application is required and we will note this in your quotation. Where a planning application is needed, we will prepare and submit it to Buckinghamshire Council on your behalf at no additional cost beyond the quoted fee. We cannot guarantee planning approval but we will resubmit at no additional fee where reasonable amendments would resolve a refusal.

6. Build Schedule

Estimated build dates are confirmed in writing once your quotation is accepted and any planning approval is in place. We commit to fixed timelines and will notify you immediately of any unavoidable delays (typically caused by extreme weather, supplier delays, or planning extensions outside our control).

7. Warranty

Every build is supplied with a long-term structural warranty plus manufacturer warranties on glazing, doors, roofing systems and electrical components. Specific warranty terms are detailed in your handover pack. Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, unauthorised alterations, or extreme weather events outside reasonable design parameters.

8. Limitation of Liability

Buckinghamshire Garden Rooms shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the contract value of your project.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — text, photography, graphics, design system — is the property of Buckinghamshire Garden Rooms and is protected by UK copyright law. Custom designs prepared for your project remain our intellectual property until full payment is received.

10. Cancellation

Cancellation terms are set out in your contract pack. Generally, cancellations before manufacturing commences are subject to recovery of design and consultation costs incurred to date; cancellations after manufacturing commences are subject to recovery of materials and labour costs.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. Changes apply to new enquiries and projects from the date posted; existing contracts are governed by the terms in force at the date of contract signature.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
